MR. Asit ranjan Sengupta came from Chittagong to tinsukia around 1940-45 for joining tinsukia railway. After sometime of that within tinsukia railway colony premises mainly of his initiative this temple had established. As per my knowledge his name has been mentioning in temple entrance. dear sir we the inhabitant of sripuria Tinsukia Assam where IOC TANK NO 10 exists, sir, very recent IOC LTD, removed its tank no 10 from our area, during the process OIL extracts from the tank polluted entire drains and roads of the area and we are badly effected. Moreover a school exists where students are badly suffering which cannot be expressed. A joint petition has been submitted to the Terminal Manager, IOC TINSUKIA. But sir , we are very disappointed till now we have not received any response from their end. We humbly request you Please help us and save us. I would like to know what action district administration is taking to deal with increasing incident of eve teasing in and around Tinsukia town? Women's safety is a very serious issue, and I don't think the police is doing enough to curtail down such incidents. In my openion the Rangagora road is the most vulnerable road in tinsukia due to the presence of number of stree thugs. I urge our city administration to take some strong measures and make our city a safe place for the women.
